To ensure that even our youngest lawyers develop the skills to perform when the stakes are high, the Firm prides itself on providing courtroom experience to its lawyers early and often. We look for lawyers from many backgrounds and with varying experience levels, with the plan to invest in those lawyers for the long term to deliver on our commitment to excellence, professionalism, and teamwork. Since the Firm maintains one office in Houston, our lawyers work directly with the Firm’s decision makers, and therefore, typically experience timely advancements and promotions.
We also welcome applications from lawyers completing a judicial clerkship in federal or state courts. In recognition of the value that former judicial clerks provide the Firm and its clients, Beck Redden provides additional compensation to former judicial clerks and offers appropriate salary and partnership credit.
Despite the complex nature of our practice, the Firm maintains a collegial atmosphere. Rather than specializing in a practice area, trial teams are staffed leanly on a case-by-case basis. This allows our trial lawyers to work on a wide variety of matters and practice with numerous attorneys within the Firm. In addition, lawyers are encouraged to actively participate in internal committees to contribute to firm initiatives and strategies.
