Bilma A. Canales

Bilma puts clients first. As a former middle school teacher, Bilma knows how to distill complex issues and think quickly on her feet, skills that allow her to adapt her litigation style to best meet her clients’ needs.

Before joining the firm, Bilma clerked for the Honorable Roger L. Gregory of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Honorable Gray H. Miller of the Southern District of Texas. During her clerkships, Bilma worked on a wide range of civil matters. In law school, Bilma served as a Notes and Comments Editor of the Houston Law Review and competed on the moot court team.
