With over 20 years of litigation experience, David Jones leads the Firm's Class Action/Multidistrict Litigation and Insurance Coverage practices.  Handling cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, David views each dispute from every angle.  Whether it is high stakes litigation for a Fortune 500 company or a claim involving individuals, David identifies the key issues and presents them in a simple story for the court or jury. His practice includes experience as lead counsel in cases involving commercial, insurance, products liability, consumer, and intellectual property claims among many others. 

Represented Cameron International Corporation (blowout preventer manufacturer) in the Gulf oil spill Multidistrict Litigation. After six weeks of trial, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana found that Cameron was not liable to any claimant and entered an order completely dismissing Cameron from the litigation.

Served as lead counsel for Cameron as a party-in-interest before the United State Coast Guard/Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement Board of Investigation into the Marine Casualty, Explosion, Fire, Pollution and Sinking of Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit Deepwater Horizon.

Represents waste disposal company in insurance action seeking coverage for environmental liabilities at sites throughout the United States. 

Represents policyholders in numerous insurance matters involving various types of coverages including general liability, property & casualty, title, environmental impairment liability, professional liability, directors & officers liability, and business interruption.

Represents national homebuilder in commercial and consumer disputes.

Represents oilfield equipment manufacturer in various patent and technology licensing disputes.

Representative Experience
